Reconnecting in the New Year

It’s that time again to start thinking about plans for the New Year, closing off of the old year. What challenges have you come across this year that forced you to look differently at your life, your friends, your family and your situation? Which of those challenges made you thrive and which ones made you feel like a shrinking violet? All of these things mean nothing if we don’t take the time to review and then renew ourselves for the new challenges to come.

This year posed many challenges for me after an unexpected 6 months in the US separated from my fiance and stepchildren. I learned to stay calm under pressure, to find new ways to solve problems, and to take each task one step at a time. One of the biggest lessons being to make sure I dot my i’s and cross my t’s, no excuses.

As I look to the New Year and the things it will bring I’m reminded once again how “reconnecting is the source of all healing” said so eloquently by Dr. Wayne Dyer about Eric Pearl’s book The Reconnection. As I focus on bringing more healing onto the planet through my practice, I look forward to seeing how that expands into all areas of my life and the life of my clients.

Here’s to the end of 2010, with all it’s highlights and lowlights! And now onto the fresh new 2011 and all the new experiences it will bring.
